Be the welcoming presence our guests and donors first encounter—join Refuge of Hope as our Donor Relations and Office Assistant! As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and guests, you’ll be the friendly face and empathetic voice that represents our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include processing donations, ensuring our generous supporters receive timely and heartfelt acknowledgments, and managing our donor database to keep our records accurate and up to date. In addition to your administrative tasks, you’ll also have the rewarding opportunity to assist individuals in crisis, connecting them with vital community services. Your ability to provide calm, informed support during stressful times will make a direct, positive impact on those seeking help.

If you have a heart for service, a knack for organization, and a desire to make a difference, we’d love to meet you! This position’s primary function is to receive, process, sort, stock all clothing and household donations through the Refuge of Hope Community Care Center, and help distribute donations to the community at large. The position will focus on customer service skills working with our donors, answering phone inquiries, assisting guest’s selections, and training volunteers on policies and procedures in the clothing ministry.
