This position's primary function is to receive, process, sort, stock all clothing and household donations through the Refuge of Hope Community Care Center, and help distribute donations to the community at large. The position will focus on customer service skills working with our donors, answering phone inquiries, assisting guest's selections, and training volunteers on policies and procedures in the clothing ministry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directs all aspects of the Clothing Ministry donations from acceptance to distribution.
  • Help schedule and train workers and volunteers in the Clothing Ministry.
  • Keep inventory of a food in storage for the Meal Ministry.
  • Oversee cleaning of all areas of the Refuge of Hope Community Care Center.
  • Prepare/communicate accurate, timely metrics to indicate progress toward developed goals.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date information for all donations for data entry & filing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety & federal/state/local laws, rules & regulations
  • Practice/enforce ROH’s mission/vision/values
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as requested

Must have a demonstrated commitment and adherence to understanding and implementing the mission, vision, core values, and philosophy of Refuge of Hope. A strong commitment to serve the homeless, hungry, & those living in poverty & be able to professionally represent ROH in a variety of settings and diverse communities.
